Congratulations to The Wakeboard Camp’s own Robert Sichel for getting the prestigious cover shot on the 2012 Alliance Gear Guide!

Those of you who have come to the camp know Bob from being coached by him, seeing him spin and flip into the lofty atmosphere behind one of the camp Malibus, or even from dining and enjoying his delicious culinary creations. Those of you who have come to the camp in the past few years have likely had a chance to see our own Robert Sichel ride. He’s been going bigger, spinning more, and grabbing harder lately than ever before.

A small group of wakeboard riders recently headed out West for a multi-lake trip. Included in the trip were Ben Greenwood, Chad Lowe, and Bob Sichel of The Wakeboard Camp. Also joining in on the magic was Mike Schwenne, Trever Maur, Josh Twelker, and Spencer Smith.

Trever put a great video together from part one of their trip. Enjoy the good vibes of the early 2010 wakeboard season!

Alliance 2010 Gear Guide Board Test

Have you got the 2010 Gear Guide issue of Alliance yet? You know that chunk of totally radical breakdowns of how each board behaves on the water behind the boat, on the cable, and on rails? Well the boat portion was conducted right here at The Wakeboard Camp!

You can watch a quick little video and see how it all went down on that cold wintry (by Floridian standards) day. Riders included Chad Lowe, Nick Whitt, Derek Cook, and the mysterious Agent Orange. A lot of time was spent out on the lake that day. Hopefully it helps you get that perfect setup for this year’s shredding!

Have You Searched for Bob?

Alliance Wake just released the results for the most searched wakeboarders of 2009. Second on the list, only to the legend Parks Bonifay, is The Wakeboard Camp’s own Bob Sichel. Nice work on getting searched a whole bunch of times Bob!

Bob recently signed on with Company along with the fourth top searched rider, Randall Harris. The other riders on the list are also friends of the camp: Robby Jacques and Aaron Rathy.
